Responsibilities & Focus
The Hardware Support Technician is responsible for comprehensive, industry-leading support for BuildingPoint clients and team members. This role is responsible for providing consultative services, training, and support. Within this capacity, the Hardware Support Technician will provide insight and consultation on workflow enhancements and best practices for implementing advanced technology. This will also include creating content for training, videos, and other educational support.
- Provide technical sales & services support focused on:
- Layout
- Laser Scanning
- Robotics
- Mixed & Augmented Reality
- Collaborate with Hardware Sales Representatives to train clients
- Lead and assist in creating customer support and training videos
- Develop training materials for Trimble hardware and software
- Respond to technical questions from customers and team members
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical support and software troubleshooting
- Strong computer management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and desktop support
- General knowledge of computer basics
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
